Let it snow.......

We finally got enough snow here in springville for the kids to play with. They were both so excited to get outside. We all got dressed in our warm snow clothes and out we went. Claire was so excited, she went nuts. Wes was just as excited. They would have stayed outside for hours if we would have let them.
Claire did not have any gloves so her hands were freezing after about 20 minutes. As soon as we walked inside she said "more!" She wanted to go back outside. She didn't care that her hands were bright red and freezing. She was making snowballs and throwing them at Wes. She thought it was so funny.
When we got inside I made some homemade hot chocolate. It was delicious. All you need is
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup cocoa
pinch of salt
1/3 cup water
4 cups milk
whipping cream or marshmellows

Put sugar cocoa and salt in saucepan add water and stir until boiling. Let boil for 2 minutes then add milk and stir until warm. DO NOT let it boil once the milk is in the pan. Top with marshmallows or whipped cream.
I got this recipe from the Hershey's website and let me tell you it is the best hot chocolate you will ever have. We actually add more like 4 and 3/4 cup milk but if you like it really chocolatey then just do the 4 cups! :)

I love the snow! The kids look so cute playing out there. I am going to have to try the hot chocolate recipe. Jared loves the stuff.
