Cedar Breaks

Well since most of my family including Wes were off to Lake Powell for the week we decided to take our own little mini vacation. We booked a room at Brianhead, we figured since it is only about a 3 hour drive the babe could handle it. We invited Anna, Travis, Zadia and Keziah to come along. It was so much fun. Claire did an awesome job in the car, only cried a little bit!!! We got there and the weather was perfect! We got settled into the hotel room. We then went for a hike with everyone. I just put the baby in the sling and off we went. We hiked a mile, it was so beautiful so many wild flowers and wild life. We saw a deer on our hike and a yellow bellied marmot. Then we went to where Anna and her family were camping and had dinner together. On Thursday we went to a lake where Travis took the kids on a bike ride, Anna went for a run and me and James and Claire went for another little hike. Claire LOVES being outside so she was happy as could be. We then all went back to the hotel so the kids could go swimming and the boys could go on a real bike ride. We then had dinner and played some games. We had so much fun, it was nice to get away. We left at 7 this morning in hopes baby cakes would sleep most of the way, which she did. So for Little miss Claire's first vacation she did a wonderful job!
